Grammar Rule No. 9
When -TZIN is added to the end of a word, it signifies respect and reverence.
Cihuatl = woman; Cihuatzin = Mrs.
Tonan = our mother; Tonantzin = our respectful mother


Grammar Rule No. 10
When -TON is added to the end of a word, it signifies smaller, or less respectable.
Cihuatl = mujer; Cihuanton = girl
Tochtli = rabbit; Tochton = baby rabbit

- TZIN or -TZINTLI can also be added to the end of a word to signify small or young.

Piltzin = small boy; Piltzintli = young boy

For a direct definition of small, we use the term TZINKITZIN which is added to the beginning of a word.
Amoxton = notebook; Tzinkitzin Amoxton = small notebook
Camatli = mouth; Tzinkitzin Camatli = small mouth
